Ranked, A Musical

Created for the students of Granite Bay High School, Ranked is a contemporary pop-rock musical about academic pressure, competition, and identity. With humor, heart, and a distinctly student-driven voice, the show asks what it means to be more than a number.
Ranked has been performed by more than 100 high schools and universities around the world and was the subject of HBO's documentary My So-Called High School Rank. The film follows student productions as young people confront these same pressures in their own lives, while also chronicling Kyle and co-writer David Taylor Gomes' efforts to bring the musical to New York City.
A Six-Part Episodic Musical Comedy
A six-part episodic musical about love, loss, and the unexpected turns of life. Created and performed in Sacramento, Boxed Up brings together an ensemble of storytellers to explore what happens when life doesn't go according to plan. Kyle contributed to the show's writing team, served as lead writer for its final episode, and played guitar and produced the original cast recording.

A one-act hip-hop musical about unfinished stories, uncertain futures, and the courage to face what comes next. No Spoilers follows Sam, a young woman whose online book reports never reveal the ending. When her own future becomes uncertain, characters from unfinished books help her confront the endings she's been avoiding. Co-written by Kyle Holmes and Ian Merrigan, the show explores love, change, and learning to let go.
